    Front Office Medical Assistant - Pediatrics / Women's Health

     

    Family practice in Sherman Oaks that focuses on pediatrics and women's health is looking for a medical assistant to join their front office team! This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and gain extensive healthcare experience!

    REQUIREMENTS:

    + 6+ months of experience

    + Bilingual in Spanish

    + Experience with EMR systems

    Job Description

    + Registering new patients within EMR system.

    + Expediting patient referrals to specialty offices.

    + Completing referral requests as needed.

    + Ensuring complete and accurate patient registration.

    + Providing clinical information to specialists.

    + Coordinating with review organizations and insurance companies.

    + Reviewing referral details with patients.

    + Answer phone calls.

    + Utilize Athena EMR system

     

    Work Site

     

    + This is a fully on-site position in Sherman Oaks, California.

     

    Schedule

     

    + Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm OR 8am-5pm

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Van Nuys, CA 91403.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
