    Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Associate

    Job Description

    This position operates on the 1st shift from 6:00 am to 3:30 pm. You will play a crucial role in unloading trucks with a stand-up hi-lo and loading trucks for shipment. Once the products or parts are unloaded, you will scan them into the facility, stock shelves, and fill racks. A significant part of your duties will involve transferring products shipped in corrugated boxes into special metal racks using a stand-up hi-lo.

    Responsibilities

    + Unload trucks with a stand-up hi-lo and load trucks for shipment.

    + Scan products into the facility and stock shelves and fill racks.

    + Transfer products from corrugated boxes to special metal racks using a stand-up hi-lo.

    + Handle all shipping paperwork accurately.

    + Perform manual inventory tasks, including tracking product numbers/SKUs and communicating with inside sales reps for billing purposes.

    Essential Skills

    + 3 years of hi-lo experience, with at least 1 year on a stand-up hi-lo.

    + Minimum 6 months of shipping and receiving experience.

    + Minimum 6 months of warehouse experience.

    + Attention to detail in manual inventory tasks.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with ERP systems is a plus.

    The plant is very clean and well-organized, undergoing a deep clean once per week to maintain optimal conditions. All tools and parts are meticulously sorted and organized for efficiency. Expect to wear clothing that can get dirty and greasy; pants are provided.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
