**Job Title:** Shipping and Receiving

**Location:** Long Island City, NY

**Pay:** $18 - $19 hour

Job Description:

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing and controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks essential for the receipt, storage, and shipment of products. This includes receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, and delivery. The role ensures the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products to various internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:

• Execute tasks related to receiving, picking, packing, and shipping products.

• Manage staging, transporting, storage, and delivery of goods.

• Ensure efficient flow of products from receipt to shipment.

• Adhere to clearly defined Standard Operating Procedures and quality guidelines.

• Work under close supervision, ensuring all tasks are reviewed for accuracy.

• Seek supervisor approval for any deviations from standard procedures.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in picking, inventory, packing, and material handling.

• Experience with RF scanners and inventory control.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred.

• Ability to apply basic skills and techniques to complete routine tasks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Long Island City, NY 11101.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $47840.00/yr.
