    Job Title: Production Assembler** **Job Description

     

    Participate in all operational activities of the modification department. Duties include participating in the receiving, staging, unpackaging, modifying, repackaging, and shipping of assembled cabinetry along with managing the associated paperwork flow.

    Responsibilities

    + Participate in the modification of assembled cabinets according to the description on each order.

    + Work within a team framework to produce and modify cabinets both with a team member or individually.

    + Operate and maintain all woodworking, hand tools, and power tools used to unassemble, modify, and reassemble cabinetry.

    + Complete the necessary paperwork associated with the job.

    + Receive, unload, and stage incoming assembled cabinetry for modification.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.

    + Experience in assembly and production processes.

    + Capability in woodworking and carpentry tasks.

    + Ability to read, speak, and write in English.

    + At least 1 year of production experience or similar experience in carpentry/woodworking.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to perform general labor tasks.

    + Experience in inspection processes is beneficial.

    Work Environment

    Work in a warehouse and/or open outside storage yard environment involving lifting above the shoulder, walking, bending, standing, and carrying of products. The job requires heavy lifting and exposure to all types of weather conditions, including seasonal temperature changes. The work schedule is determined by the needs of the business unit and may vary by location. Opportunities for both first and third shifts are available.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
