    Job Title: OD Grinder Operator

    Job Description

    We are seeking dedicated and skilled machinists with experience in conventional grinding operations to join our team. The role involves working on aerospace parts using manual machines, with a specialization in landing gear and hydraulic component overhaul.

     

    The position is available for both 1st shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) or 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM).

    Responsibilities

    + Set up and operate machining tasks on high-strength steel parts and plated surfaces such as chrome and nickel.

    + Operate one or more machines regularly to ensure efficient workflow.

    + Ensure all machined work meets dimensional tolerances as specified in shop planning documents.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with ID, GAP, or OD grinding on aerospace parts using manual machines.

    + Proficiency in reading and understanding OHM/CMM's, blueprints, shop travelers, and sketches.

    Work Environment

     

    The role is within a FAA 145 Repair Station specializing in landing gear and hydraulic component overhaul. You'll be part of a dedicated team focused on precision and quality in a dynamic environment.

    The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $72000.00/yr.
