• Commercial Electrician

    Aerotek (Van Nuys, CA)


    We’re looking for a skilled **Commercial Electrician** to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in high‑quality workmanship, communicates well, and thrives in fast‑paced commercial environments.

    Responsibilities

    + Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems

    + Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams

    + Perform conduit bending, wiring, panel terminations, and equipment hookups

    + Troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure code compliance

    + Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades

    + Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site

    Requirements

    + Valid electrician license or journeyman certification (state‑specific)

    + 3+ years of commercial electrical experience

    + Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    + Proficiency with tools, meters, and testing equipment

    + Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience with tenant improvements, retail, office, or industrial projects

    + Low‑voltage or fire alarm experience

    + OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Van Nuys, CA 91411.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $38.00/hr.
