    Job Title: Finishing Inspector

    Job Description

    We are seeking a detail-oriented Finishing Inspector to join our team on the 2nd shift.

     

    The successful candidate will initially train on the 1st shift before transitioning to the 2nd shift schedule.

     

    You will be responsible for inspecting products to ensure quality standards are met.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate the inspection machine to review for defects, inconsistencies, or deviations from job specifications.

    + Identify and document product defects, reporting quality concerns to the department manager.

    + Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure system data integrity.

    + Package inspected finished goods according to job specifications and customer requirements.

    + Assist material handlers in loading master rolls onto the inspection machine.

    + Maintain cleanliness and organization of your work area, following safety and housekeeping guidelines.

    + Work in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to company policies, SOPs, and safety regulations to eliminate risks and ensure a safe working environment.

    + Perform all other duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of experience in machine operation within a manufacturing facility.

    + Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify product defects.

    + Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

    + Capability of performing all work tasks in the department and the ability to train others.

    + Proficiency in using hand tools, completing changeovers, and using a tape measure accurately.

    + Forklift operating skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High School Diploma or GED required.

    + Prior experience in manufacturing or quality inspection preferred.

    + Mechanically inclined with skills in slitter, printing, and quality inspection.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is clean, well-organized, and well-lit, with racking systems in place.

     

    Although the building is not temperature-controlled, measures are in place to maintain comfort throughout the year.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Emigsville, PA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
