    Job Title: Extrusion Operator** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking skilled Extrusion Machine Operators to join our team. This role involves setting up, operating, and breaking down equipment to ensure smooth production processes. The position offers competitive hourly wages ranging from $18 to $22 based on experience, with differential pay for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

    Responsibilities

    + Set up, run, and break down products on equipment.

    + Read and accurately fill out required paperwork.

    + Input data into the SAP system.

    + Monitor and inspect products to ensure conformance to specifications and defect-free production.

    + Follow ISO documentation to meet customer requirements.

    + Maintain a clean working area.

    + Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth production processes.

    + Prepare products for transfer to other departments as needed.

    + Perform light maintenance on equipment.

    + Support and contribute to the Total Quality Management (TQM) and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems.

    + Engage with management on future processes, including ISO and lean manufacturing.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to train on the first shift.

    + Mechanically inclined.

    + Basic math skills.

    + Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or related fields.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Extrusion experience is a plus.

    + Cannot be colorblind due to the necessity of working with color-coded wires.

    Work Environment

    Our facility is temperature-controlled, clean, and well-lit, providing a pleasant working environment. We operate three shifts: 1st shift from 7am to 3:30pm, 2nd shift from 3pm to 11:30pm with a 10% differential, and 3rd shift from 11pm to 7:30am with a 15% differential.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Grafton, MA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
