Job Title: Mixing Operator** **Job Description
The Mixing Operator plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful operation of the encapsulation process. This position involves starting and operating the encapsulation machine, transferring raw materials into the hopper, and monitoring machine cycle time and performance. Operators are responsible for making minor adjustments and performing routine quality checks to ensure products meet quality specifications.
Responsibilities
+ Start and operate encapsulation machines efficiently.
+ Transfer raw materials into the hopper accurately.
+ Monitor machine cycle time and performance for optimal output.
+ Perform minor adjustments to machines as needed.
+ Conduct routine quality checks to ensure product specifications are met.
+ Record data accurately and maintain documentation and batch records.
Essential Skills
+ Previous experience as a machine operator or in a manufacturing setting.
+ Proficiency in using gauges, weight scales, and calipers for product specifications.
+ Ability to read and follow process procedures and protocols accurately.
+ Experience with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOP (Standard Operating Procedures).
+ Ability to perform machine setup, tear down, and light maintenance.
+ High school diploma or GED is required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience working with capsule machines is preferred.
+ Background in nutraceutical or pharmaceutical industries is advantageous.
+ Competency in documentation and batch recording processes.
+ Forklift operation experience is beneficial.

Work Environment
Work in a production environment with various rooms, handling mechanical and moving parts. Safety awareness is critical. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate. Employees should be prepared to adhere to safety protocols and procedures.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jurupa Valley, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
