    Warehouse Worker

    1st Shift

     

    $19.50/hr

    Responsibilities

    + Package finished products for shipping, including shrink wrapping, boxing, and labeling.

    + Pick orders from paper sheets to ensure products are correctly assembled and ready for shipment.

    + Load finished products onto trucks, including items like rice, flour, cups, and packages.

    + Unload products from trucks or containers and stock them in designated areas.

    + Ensure quality control by preventing damaged products from being sent out or stored.

    + Operate within standard operating procedures.

    + Manage inventory movement into and out of controlled locations.

    + Prepare customers’ orders for delivery.

    + Provide fill-in support for other departments in the warehouse.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Skills Required

    + Experience working in a warehouse

    + Ability to work in different temperature-controlled departments, including a freezer, deli refrigerator, and room temperature, is essential.

    + Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand on feet all day.

    + Ability to follow written and oral instructions correctly.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience operating a forklift or pallet jack is highly preferred but not required

    + Attendance is crucial; call-outs need to be 48 hours in advance to ensure coverage.

    + Workers are required to rotate working in the freezer for one week per month.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
