Job Title: Security Guard
Job Description
As a security guard, your primary role is to protect property from damage, fire, theft, and unauthorized access. You will ensure the security of buildings and grounds by conducting regular inspections and ensuring compliance with regulations and laws. You will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and handling emergencies.
Responsibilities
+ Guard property against damage, fire, theft, and illegal or unauthorized entry.
+ Conduct periodic rounds around buildings and grounds, checking doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are properly secured.
+ Ensure the observance of applicable laws and regulations.
+ Warn or evict individuals in the event of infractions.
+ Interview guests and employees to detect infringements and investigate disturbances, complaints, thefts, vandalism, and incidents.
+ Report irregularities to management.
+ Provide assistance to accident victims and handle emergencies.
+ Lift and move equipment or individuals, and pursue and apprehend unauthorized persons if necessary.
+ Assist management and law enforcement officials during emergencies.
+ Comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
+ Report all accidents and injuries promptly.
+ Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
+ Participate in regular safety meetings, training, and hazard assessments.
+ Apply OSHA and related local safety requirements to all assigned work.
+ Perform work in accordance with established safety procedures.
+ Attend designated training programs, both classroom and virtual.
+ Perform responsibilities of a Senior Security Officer in their absence.
+ Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
+ Ability to present oneself in a highly professional manner.
+ Ability to maintain a positive attitude.
+ Ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments professionally.
+ Ability to maintain professional relationships with coworkers, vendors, supervisors, managers, and clients.
+ Ability to provide clear directions and respond accordingly.
+ Basic phone and computer skills, including email and texting.
+ Good attention to detail.
+ Ability to work well under pressure.
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills.
+ Excellent management and organizational skills.
+ Ability to work well alone and in a team.
+ Driver's License required.

Work Environment
The work environment involves regular safety meetings, training sessions, and hazard assessments. You will work both independently and as part of a team. The role may require lifting and moving equipment or individuals, and you must be prepared to respond to emergencies. A professional and respectful demeanor is expected at all times.

This is a Permanent position based out of Green Bay, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
