Job Title: Production Worker

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and skilled production workers to operate packaging lines and machinery. You will be involved in handling dip or dressing lines, packaging lids, bowls, bottles, and finished goods, as well as inspecting products and ensuring smooth product flow on the lines.

Responsibilities

+ Operate and monitor packaging and filling lines.

+ Inspect products and check labels for accuracy.

+ Unjam lines and assist with changeovers for different product lines.

+ Lift boxes onto pallets and wrap pallets for shipment.

+ Utilize computers for verifying and printing orders.

+ Use EPJS and RF Scanners for efficient operations.

+ Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Essential Skills

+ 2-3 years of experience in packaging line operations.

+ Over 2 years of manufacturing experience.

+ Ability to lift 50 lbs.

+ Proficiency with computers.

+ Experience with machine operating.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with foods or chemicals is preferred.

+ Must wear steel-toed boots.

+ General production and labor experience.

Work Environment

Work in a normal production floor environment that is temperature controlled and clean. The facility is smaller, accommodating around 110 people, and operates three shifts. Employees have access to discounted products and a well-maintained cafeteria.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Thornton, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
