Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description

The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on packaging machines. This is initially a contract position with the potential to transition to a permanent role. The role operates on the first shift from 6:00 am to 4:00 am, Monday through Friday, with flexibility required for hours and days worked.

Responsibilities

+ Perform preventative maintenance on packaging machines.

+ Troubleshoot and repair production equipment.

+ Manufacture parts using manual machines as needed.

+ Ensure the efficient operation of 42 packaging machines, 4 of which operate 24/7.

+ Work with packaging machines such as Mespacks, Protopacks, Volpaks, and Allpacks.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 3-5 years of maintenance experience.

+ Experience with manual machines for on-the-spot manufacturing.

+ Proficiency in troubleshooting production equipment.

+ Knowledge of Pneumatics, Hydraulics, and Mechanical systems.

+ Electrical skills, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Electrical Troubleshooting.

+ Understanding of Process Controls, Digital Logic Systems, and Robotics.

+ Ability to read schematics and symbols, and knowledge of Three Phase, AC/DC Circuits, and Advanced Electronics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High school diploma or GED; an Associate degree or technical certifications are preferred.

+ Experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment is preferred.

+ Experience with packaging equipment such as the person or Extreme is preferred.

+ Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving history.

Work Environment

The position is based in a warehouse environment, with some areas being climate controlled. The facility is clean and organized, primarily receiving products in bulk and then individually packaging them.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $66560.00/yr.
