    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled electrician with a minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial settings. As an electrician, your main responsibility will be to install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems. This includes pulling and running cabling in new commercial construction, as well as maintaining equipment and wiring. In addition, you will be tasked with installing or replacing circuit breakers and other electrical components. A substantial part of your role will involve understanding and working from blueprints and plans.

    Responsibilities

    + Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.

    + Pull and run cabling in new commercial construction.

    + Maintain equipment and wiring.

    + Install or replace circuit breakers and other electrical components.

    + Understand and work from blueprints and plans.

    + Bring and use personal hand tools, hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, gloves, and safety vest (PPE).

    Essential Skills

    + 4+ years of commercial electrician experience.

    + Proficiency in PVC pipe and conduit work.

    + Ability to bend pipes and work with PVC, steel, or carbon, metal pipes.

    + Own basic tools including drills.

    + Reliable transportation.

    + Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.

    + Experience with MC Cable for 3+ years.

    + Ability to troubleshoot existing wiring and assess usability.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with underground cable installation.

    + Proficiency in rough ins.

    + Understanding of blueprints.

    + Ability to work in a team.

    + Safety consciousness.

    + Reliability.

    Work Environment

     

    This fully on-site position is located in Cairo GA, working on a renovation project. The work environment involves both indoor and outdoor settings, exposed to the elements including hot summers and cold winters. You will be working alongside other tradesmen on renovation projects, replacing fixtures, wires, and switches.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Cairo, GA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
