Job Title: Material Controls Associate** **Job Description
As a Material Controls Associate, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes. You will collaborate with the Production Manager and Supervisor to manage daily warehouse tasks, inventory, and materials necessary for the production team to meet their goals. Your attention to detail and ability to maintain a safe and organized workspace will contribute to the quality and safety of our products.
Responsibilities
+ Work with the Production Manager/Supervisor to plan and prioritize daily warehouse tasks and production.
+ Ensure that the production team has materials and equipment needed at their work site to achieve production goals for each shift.
+ Manage inventory of raw and packaging materials, ensuring alignment with the production schedule.
+ Perform month-end and year-end inventory counts.
+ Follow written processes and procedures to ensure the quality and safety of our products.
+ Adhere to the First In First Out (FIFO) procedure when receiving, shipping, and preparing materials for production.
+ Use computers and other office equipment to perform basic administrative tasks.
+ Maintain accurate documentation, including shipping/receiving documents, logs, and bills of lading.
+ Create packing lists, Will Call documents, and communicate with customers through emails.
+ Ensure the accuracy of planners for each customer.
+ Communicate issues, problems, and ideas clearly with the management team.
+ Perform daily walkthroughs of the production area and warehouse to check for cleanliness, organization, and potential problems.
+ Keep the production and warehouse area organized and clutter-free.
+ Safely unload and load trucks using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other equipment.
+ Perform daily equipment maintenance checks.
+ Report all spills and equipment malfunctions to the management team.
+ Load pallets according to established load plans.
+ Work safely and professionally at all times.

+ Willingness to respond to changes and challenges to meet production timelines.
+ Ability to lift 25 - 50 lbs repeatedly.
+ Ability to climb 5-15’ vertical ladders.
+ Must have a reliable car and a valid driver's license.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with picking, packing, RF scanners, packaging, cycle counting, pallet jacks, order picking, warehouse packing, inventory, production, and inventory control.
+ Ability to work different shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.

The role involves physical activity, including lifting and climbing, in a warehouse setting. Dress code is professional, suitable for a production environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Monroe, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
