    Job Description

    Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician II and play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our facility's equipment and systems. You will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, routine inspections, and troubleshooting of conveyors, automation, robotics, and ancillary equipment.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on assigned conveyors, automation, robotics, and ancillary equipment as needed.

    + Conduct routine troubleshooting of out-of-service equipment and correct issues. Act as an escalation point for lower-level technicians

    + Record all maintenance issues in the maintenance log for each line.

    + Document all work in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and ticketing systems as appropriate.

    + Maintain accurate records of all operating logs for fire pumps, generators, HVAC equipment, and other facility systems tested on a routine basis.

    + Perform root cause analysis of major downtime events.

    + Assist maintenance mechanics in tasks requiring two people or when operational needs demand.

    + Perform facility/building project work as assigned, including light bulb/ballast replacement, door repairs, furniture installation, ceiling tile replacement, carpentry duties, plumbing repairs, and maintaining operation logs.

    + Assemble and test equipment to verify correct operation and production.

    + Analyze and record causes of production delays on daily production reports and initiate procedures to resolve equipment malfunctions.

    + Examine defects, analyze spoilage causes, and take corrective action where possible, verifying that the corrective action has eliminated the problems.

    Essential Skills

    + 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience (Technical school can count towards experience, on-the-job experience is preferred).

    + Strong troubleshooting aptitude.

    + Proficiency in troubleshooting, conveyor maintenance, mechanical and electrical systems, pneumatics, PLC troubleshooting, and blueprint reading.

    + Experience with photoeyes, 3-phase systems, and PLC controls.

    The pay range for this position is $72000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
