Lead Aircraft Technician

Description:
+ While working on-site in Chicago, IL, perform line and hangar maintenance and repair on Airbus aircraft for Frontier Airlines
+ Responsible for servicing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft, aircraft engines, and associated components
+ Complete airworthiness releases (within scope of approval) to return aircraft to service
+ Serve as a Lead over 3-5 other Aircraft Technicians, which will entail a mixture of hands-on maintenance and computer work
+ Communicate with customers as a Lead Technician
+ Mechanics may be able to get Gen Fam courses for Airbus and/or Boeing models
+ Mechanics receive flight benefits from Frontier while on this assignment
+ Other duties may be assigned
Requirements:
+ FAA A&P License is required
+ 3+ years of aircraft maintenance experience is required
+ Willingness to speak to customers on the phone is required
+ Tools are required
+ Experience as a Lead Mechanic is preferred, but not required
Pay:
+ $38/hr - $44/hr
+ Per Diem is available
Work Schedule:
+ Must be able to work 2 nd or 3 rd shift
+ Must be able to work any day of the week
+ It's likely that you'd work a 4x10 or 3x12 schedule

+ 6-month Contract to Hire

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $44.00/hr.
