    Job Description

    We are seeking dedicated Maintenance Technicians to join our team at a company specializing in manufacturing precast concrete products. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the mechanical aspects of our plant and yard equipment.

    Responsibilities

    + Maintain all mechanical aspects of plant and yard equipment.

    + Develop a basic understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyor and auger systems, power tools, overhead cranes, welding and fabrication, SMAW, GMAW, plasma torch, oxy/acetylene cutting, and wheeled vehicle repair and operation.

    + Work with various low/high voltages, motor starters, and VFDs.

    + Perform 60% reactive maintenance and 40% preventative maintenance.

    + Read and understand parts diagrams to assemble/disassemble miscellaneous equipment.

    + Communicate with supervisors regarding parts inventories and supplies.

    + Work comfortably in an outside environment 40-50% of the time.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in maintenance technician roles.

    + Proficiency in preventive maintenance, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

    + Understanding of conveyor and auger systems, power tools, overhead cranes, welding, and fabrication.

    + Ability to work with various low/high voltages, motor starters, and VFDs.

    + Automotive troubleshooting experience.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to read and understand parts diagrams for equipment assembly and disassembly.

    + Experience in maintaining mechanical aspects of industrial plant equipment.

    Work Environment

     

    Candidates must be comfortable working in an outdoor environment 40-50% of the time. The work setting is a concrete manufacturing facility, characterized by a loud, noisy, industrial environment. You will join a team of six total technicians.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grove City, OH.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00/hr.
