Job Title: 2nd Shift Assembler** **Job Description
Join our team as a 2nd Shift Assembler where you will play a crucial role in assembling subcomponents and finished products. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment using both hand and power tools to build heat exchangers. You will contribute to fulfilling daily product orders alongside a team member.
Responsibilities
+ Assemble subcomponents and finished products within the facility using hand and power tools.
+ Fit metal products using tools to construct heat exchangers.
+ Operate hand and power tools and an overhead crane.
+ Review assembly diagrams to determine necessary parts and quantities for unit assembly.
+ Lift and fit products, requiring strength to lift 60lbs or more.
+ Work collaboratively with a team member to meet production orders.
+ Engage in physical activities such as lifting, climbing, standing, walking, and reaching for extended periods.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
+ Ability to interpret assembly diagrams and blueprints.
+ Competency in operating an overhead crane.
+ Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with assembly schematics.
+ Ability to measure accurately using a tape measure.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School Diploma or GED required upon permanent conversion (company offers a GED program).
+ Ability to lift 50lbs independently and 60lbs with assistance.
+ Capability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, and reaching for extended periods.

Work Environment
Work in a large, clean, and organized manufacturing floor with clearly labeled sections. The second shift hours are from 2:15 PM to 10:45 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential additional hours on Saturday from 12 PM to 6 PM. The environment is supportive, with a focus on maintaining a neat and safe workspace.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.75 - $20.75/hr.
