Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance on equipment, identify faulty equipment, acquire necessary parts, and complete repairs. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing HVAC systems, electrical and plumbing systems, carpentry tasks, interior and exterior structures, safety measures, and appliances. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

+ Perform preventative maintenance and repairs related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, structural, safety, and appliances.

+ Identify and troubleshoot faulty equipment, acquire parts, and complete necessary repairs.

+ Follow instructions as provided by your supervisor.

+ Complete assigned work within the given timeframe and according to specifications.

+ Cooperate with other employees in the department and maintain a safe working environment.

+ Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned work area.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and safety procedures.

+ Strong troubleshooting skills and experience in preventative maintenance.

+ Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks within specified timeframes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with painting, facilities maintenance, and repair of dry wall.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Farmingdale, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
