    Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    The primary responsibilities of this role are to perform preventative maintenance, diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and carry out repairs to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency and quality.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform routine maintenance tasks on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and other equipment.

    + Conduct scheduled maintenance tasks on various machines and equipment according to maintenance schedules and guidelines.

    + Replace or repair defective parts such as belts, bearings, motors, or sensors.

    + Identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems or abnormalities in machines.

    + Collaborate with team members and team leads to analyze and resolve complex technical problems.

    + Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.

    + Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when working with machinery, and comply with industry regulations and standards to ensure equipment operates within legal and safety parameters.

    + Provide technical support to production teams to minimize operational disruptions.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and facilities maintenance.

    + Strong troubleshooting skills.

    + Proficiency in HVAC repair and maintenance.

    + Ability to work with boilers, air compressors, RTUs (2 - 100 tons), and air-cooled chillers.

    + Experience with electrical systems including lighting, ballasts, and 240v+ systems.

    + Plumbing skills including snake drains, changing out sinks, and installing auto flushers.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + EPA Universal certification.

    + Ability to read schematics, lighting plans, and blueprints.

    + PLC troubleshooting skills.

    + Proficiency in the use of hand tools.

    + Experience in drywall and carpentry.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Greenfield, IN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $83200.00/yr.

    $2/hr shift differential
