    Job Description​

    Saint Luke’s Health System Surgical Clinic is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to be an integral part of our provider team that delivers high quality patient-centered medical care to our community. This position is responsible for assisting providers in the evaluation, management and delivery of professional medical care in a busy multi-specialty physician practice.

     

    This position is for Saint Luke's East and is full time Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm with no holidays.

    Specific duties include

    • Provide an excellent patient experience by managing the flow of patients, providing excellent customer service, establishing rapport with patients and maintaining a professional demeanor.

    • Conduct pre-visit plans, room patients and obtain vitals

    • Phlebotomy as needed

    • Administer injections and coordinate vaccines

    • Assist providers with procedures

    • Utilize the EMR system and scan/download documents

    • Complete various administrative tasks as needed such as prior authorizations, RX refills, etc.

    • Conduct telephone screening (with protocols)

    • Cover front office responsibilities as needed
