Position: Physician – Dermatologist

Summary/Primary Role:
The Dermatologist is responsible for the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of a variety of skin conditions, skin cancer, and other dermatologic concerns. This role provides comprehensive medical and procedural dermatologic care in accordance with professional standards and organizational policies, while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

+ Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic dermatologic conditions.
+ Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans consistent with current dermatology guidelines.
+ Perform in-office dermatologic procedures, including but not limited to biopsies, excisions, and other minor surgical procedures.
+ Diagnose and manage skin cancers and precancerous lesions, including ongoing surveillance and follow-up care.
+ Provide cosmetic dermatology services (e.g., botox injections, dermal fillers)
+ Prescribe medications and therapies in compliance with New York State prescribing laws and regulations.
+ Provide patient education related to diagnoses, treatment options, prevention strategies, and skin health.
+ Maintain timely, accurate, and complete medical documentation in the electronic medical record system.
+ Collaborate with primary care providers, specialists, and allied health professionals to coordinate patient care.
+ Supervise and collaborate with nurse practitioners and physician assistants as needed.
+ Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer review activities, and departmental meetings
+ Comply with all applicable federal and New York State laws, regulations, and accrediting body standards, including those of the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) and the Office of the Professions.
Qualifications
+ Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.
+ Board certified or board eligible in Dermatology.
+ Active, unrestricted New York State medical license or ability to obtain prior to start date.
+ Current DEA registration or ability to obtain prior to start date.
+ Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient-centered care.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position may have supervisory responsibility for Advanced Practice Providers (NPs or PAs) within the Dermatology Department.
Expected Hours of Work:
An Employee must work a minimum of thirty (30) hours each week to maintain full-time status for benefits purposes, however the expectations of the position will require an average of forty (40) hours with overtime required as scheduled. Non-exempt employees are eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable wage and hour laws, while exempt employees may be required to work additional hours as necessary to fulfill their job responsibilities. Overtime requirements will be determined based on the operational needs of the organization.
The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining an employee’s base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity). Premier Medical Group also offers a comprehensive set of benefits to compliment the base salary. The base annual salary range for this position is $325,000.00-$425,000.00.
Travel Requirements:
Travel between Premier Medical Group office locations may be required.
Work Environment:
This role operates primarily in a clinical office setting, with inpatient and/or procedural responsibilities. The environment is fast-paced and patient-focused, requiring the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain professionalism under pressure.

• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods. • Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. • Manual dexterity and visual acuity required for patient examinations and diagnostic procedures.
