Sunstates Security is hosting a Hiring Event for Flex Security Officers on Wednesday, January 7th, from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM.

Meet with Hiring Managers for Flex positions on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts in the Aurora, Burr Ridge, and Bolingbrook, Illinois areas.

Various days and shifts are available with a pay rate of $18.50/hr, with weekly pay.

Location of event:

4320 Winfield Road,

Warrenville, Illinois 60555.

Enter the building, turn left before the elevators, and proceed down the hall to the conference room.

This is a walk-in event. Come prepared to interview with our hiring managers.

Requirements:

+ Prior security, military, or law enforcement supervisory experience preferred.

+ Ability and willingness to travel between Burr Ridge and Bolingbrook sites.

+ Valid PERC Card preferred.

+ Strong customer service skills.

+ Reliable transportation and communication methods.

+ Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

+ Ability to read, understand, and clearly communicate written instructions.

+ Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.

+ Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.

+ Availability to work holidays, weekends, and in all weather conditions.

Benefits:Qualifying candidates are eligible for a 401(k) with employer match (up to 8%) that work 20 hours a week (minimum of 500 hours per year or more worked) and have completed six months of service with Sunstates Security!

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.

Flex Officer Explanation

The Flex Officer position is crucial to our company’s operational and financial success. The flex officer provides trained, competent support by working shifts which become open due to illness, call-offs, weather, vacation, or other causes. This enables Sunstates to provide continual, uninterrupted service to our customers, while also protecting the health and work balance of our personnel.

Scheduling Expectations

The scheduling parameters and expectations for a flex officer are different from those of an employee assigned to a fixed post. As a flex:

+ You will be trained at various posts and /or facilities based on operational need. While you may work at a specific post or location for several weeks due to need, this will not be a permanent assignment.

+ Your schedule (shifts, days off, hours per week, etc.) will vary based on operational need.

+ You will be assigned to, or offered the opportunity to accept, shifts as they become available due to staffing needs.

For short-notice call-ins, you are expected to work at least 80% of the shifts for which you are called. If you refuse more than 20% of shifts for which you are called in, this could negatively impact your employment status with the company.
