Cutting Operator Trainee 2

* Safety

* Follows safety procedures.

* Reports any unsafe conditions to the Team Leader or Department Manager.

* Responsible for the safety and well-being of employees.

* Production

* Safety always takes priority over production.

* Ensures all DMS checklists and documentation is filled out completely and correctly.

* Loads roll stand.

* Keeps ink at correct viscosity. (Cut 2)

* Cleaning ink stations. (Cut 2)

* Operates the butt splicer.

* Inspects for quality of printing and cutting.

* Packs cartons on pallets for W.I.P. or in corrugated cases for finished goods warehouse.

* Places the tag in the load for CNG pallets.

* Assists presspersons with setting up machine during make ready.

* Assists operator with locating corrugated cases where applicable.

* Responsible for product safety and product quality, and reports product safety and product quality problems to Senior Management or Quality Manager.

* Maintenance

* Can assist in maintenance of machine when necessary.

* Housekeeping

* Assists with housekeeping of machine.

* Responsible for the cleanliness of the equipment in their assigned area.

* Machinery

* Assists presspersons with preventative maintenance.

* Assists presspersons with troubleshooting problems on the machinery.
