Position Summary:

The Demo Crew Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining all heavy equipment used to transport equipment and prepare sites for demonstration of all Morbark equipment. This includes operation of various types of heavy equipment along with the truck transportation of the heavy equipment.

Essential Functions of the Job:

+ Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the demo site.

+ Gather and transport green waste to be used for equipment demonstrations.

+ Transport heavy equipment.

+ Operate heavy equipment in the process of gathering material and demonstrating Morbark equipment.

+ General maintenance of equipment (checking oil, greasing, fueling, inspections for leaks or other safety issues).

+ Ability to complete work projects on time and in an effective manner.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA’s):

+ A keen eye to details and good decision-making skills

+ Have knowledge of workplace safety practices

+ Basic written and verbal communication skills

+ Possess problem solving skills

+ Can work independently with minimum supervisor along with the ability to work well with others

+ Flexibility to work non-standard hours

Education and Experience** **:

+ High school diploma or equivalent is required

+ CDL Class A is required

+ Prior heavy equipment operation experience is required
