Our client is seeking a **Laboratory Technician** to perform routine analytical and laboratory testing in support of food safety, quality assurance, and operational excellence. This role involves in-process and final product testing, monitoring instrumentation, and documenting test results accurately.

Located in Newark, CA

6 month contract with extension

**Schedule:** Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

**Pay:** $20.70/hour

Responsibilities:

+ Conduct routine testing and analysis on raw materials, in-process, and finished products.

+ Record and communicate test results accurately through databases and written/verbal reports.

+ Utilize safe laboratory practices, including equipment checks, safety meeting participation, and preventive maintenance.

+ Support product trials and experimental work under guidance from senior personnel.

+ Maintain laboratory inventory and supplies; manage stock levels and coordinate reorders.

+ Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Associate’s degree in a science-related field with relevant laboratory coursework. Bachelors Degree in a life sciences field is preferred.

+ One (1) or more years of experience in a laboratory or food manufacturing setting.

+ Basic knowledge of laboratory instrumentation.
