    Compensation: $26.00 - $31.00 (dependent on experience)

    Tessera is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Lead to join our manufacturing facility in Auburn, Washington. The Shipping and Receiving Lead will oversee daily inbound and outbound logistics operations, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, inspection, and shipment of materials and finished goods. This role provides hands-on leadership to the shipping and receiving team while maintaining compliance with quality systems, safety requirements, and ERP processes. The Lead partners closely with Purchasing, Quality, and Operations to resolve issues, support audits, and drive continuous improvement. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to on-time delivery and operational excellence.

    Typical duties include but are not limited to:

    + Oversee all shipping and receiving operations, including receipt, inspection, storage, documentation, and distribution of materials and finished goods.

    + Ensure accurate unloading, recording, and ERP system updates for all incoming and outgoing shipments, including work orders and associated documentation.

    + Coordinate customer shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve discrepancies related to invoices, packing slips, receiving reports, returns, and repairs in coordination with Purchasing and Contracts.

    + Schedule freight pickups and deliveries for customer and/or suppliers, as needed. Using customer required portals and shipping systems when applicable.

    + Support Quality receiving inspection activities by verifying quantity and condition of goods and addressing non-conformances.

    + Proactively head off shipping and receiving issues, with support from leadership, ensure corrective actions are taken.

    + Provide visible leadership, enforce work rules, and ensure consistent adherence to safety regulations, PPE requirements, and company policies.

    + Maintain clean, safe, organized, and functional work areas and equipment.

    + Prepare operational reports and metrics as required and support internal and external audits or inspections.

    + Comply with and uphold all applicable ISO 9001 / AS9100 policies, procedures, and work instructions.

    + Maintain professional appearance and conduct in all interactions.

    + All Other Duties as Assigned.

    Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma/GED equivalent required

    + 3-5 years of previous experience in Shipping and Receiving in an Aerospace Manufacturing facility required

    Physical Requirements:

    Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance.     + Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

    + May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.

    + Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.

    + Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.

    + A valid state driver’s license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.
