    Work hours: Full Time, 40 hours weekly, Days, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

     

    RN Quality Improvement Coordinator Highlights

     

    Serving in the role of Registered Nurse Quality Improvement Coordinator, your work would support Texas Health's commitment to continuous improvement in quality outcomes, accountability, safety, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. To be successful in this role you will possess the following skills and competencies including data analysis, using performance and process improvement methodology and tools, a working knowledge of patient safety and high reliability organization principles, healthcare regulatory standards, and practice standards.

    What You'll Need

    * Associate's Degree, ADN graduate from an accredited school of nursing is required.

    * Bachelor's Degree, BSN in Nursing is highly preferred.

    * In addition to the ADN or BSN, a Master's Degree in health-related field preferred.

    * Three (3) years clinical experience in an acute care setting is required.

    * One to two (1 to 2) year(s) experience in healthcare quality/performance improvement highly preferred.

    * RN - Registered Nurse is required upon hire.

     

    CPHQ - Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality is preferred upon hire.

    Your skills for success:

    High level skill set with the following applications: Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Must have ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a clear, concise, and professional manner with various audiences. Understands and appreciates the sensitive and confidential nature of quality, safety, and performance improvement activities. Working knowledge of regulatory standards, patient care standards and practices, performance improvement tools, and data collection and analysis. Ability to collect, interpret, analyze, and present information to help inform organizational operations and decision making.
