    Job Description/Essential Functions:

    This is a consultant position. You will not be considered a BRC employee, rather a 1099 consultant. Hours and duration of this position is described in the consultant agreement.

     

    Bevilacqua Research Corporation (BRC) is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned, Small Business based in Huntsville, Alabama incorporated in 1992. BRC provides “best-value” technical and management solutions to a diverse government and commercial customer base in the following key business areas: test & evaluation, systems analysis & integration, security & intelligence, and R&D.

    Responsibilities:

    + Provide Scientific review support of NEDU’s research protocols and test plans conducted by the Biomedical Research or the Testing and Evaluation Departments.

    + The incumbent will review, edit, and/or provide scientific and technical recommendations on documents generated to support research protocols and test plans.

    + The incumbent may be required to provide guidance, data analysis, statistical analysis, formatting of documents.

    + This effort may require participation in phone calls, virtual meetings or in-person meetings to facilitate recommendations on the review of documents or to provide guidance and mentorship needed to support document generation.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + PhD Engineer, scientist, physician or equivalent who is a subject matter expert with intricate knowledge in diving and hyperbaric physiology, equipment, logistics as well as diving and hyperbaric testing and evaluation.

    + Extensive experience in the review and synthesis of scientific information is required, to include journal articles, technical reports, research proposals, experimental protocols, and the processing of raw or compiled data.

    + Extensive experience in conducting human subject research is required.

    + U.S. Citizen with eligibility for a secret clearance.

    + This position’s effort will be accomplished primarily through telework. On-site status in Panama City Beach, FL only be through request by the NEDU Executive Director.

    + This is a new position; it has not been created to fill an existing (vacated) Civil Service Position

    + The Contractor will fully comply with Executive Order 14210 and the hiring freeze directed therein. The Government and/or Contractor will not create any position that circumvents this Order.
