Pay: Up to $52/hr

About the Role

Amergis is seeking a Special Education Teacher to provide quality services to students in grades K–12. This role involves planning and implementing individualized programs, delivering specialized instruction, and collaborating with general education staff to support student success.

Position Highlights

+ Caseload: Resource classroom (details TBD)

+ Contract Length: Through end of school year

Requirements

+ Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred)

+ Valid state teaching certificate as required by state regulations

+ Minimum of one year teaching experience (preferred)

+ State Teacher Certification: Standard Elementary, Secondary, or Special Teaching (preferred)

+ Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred

+ CPR certification (if applicable)

+ TB screening and health clearance

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
