Rockford School Aide – $17/hr – 35 Hours/Week

About the Role

Rockford is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Aide to support students and staff in a classroom environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, communicates well, and thrives in a school setting.

Requirements

+ Para license required

+ OR a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license

+ OR a DSP (Direct Support Professional) license

+ Experience working with children is required

+ Strong communication and teamwork skills

+ Reliability, patience, and a student-centered mindset

Responsibilities

+ Assist teachers with classroom activities and student support

+ Provide one-on-one or small-group assistance as needed

+ Help maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment

+ Support students with daily routines and transitions

+ Collaborate with staff to meet student needs
