Our Mission is to perpetuate the wildlife resources of the state, to provide a quality state parks system, and to provide enjoyable and sustainable outdoor recreation opportunities that educate and inspire current and future generations to serve as active stewards of Colorado's natural resources.
The purpose of this work unit is to execute the limited licensing draws, oversee the issuing and accounting for approximately two million hunting and fishing license sales for Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) through draw processes and license agent sales located throughout the state. Camping reservations, parks pass administration, and the CPW Call Center are critical components of this section. This unit is also responsible for the issuing of special licenses, and the review, hearing, and execution of license suspension hearings as mandated by the Statute and Parks and Wildlife Commission regulations. This section staffs the front desk at 6060 Broadway and works face to face with customers, along with handling conference room reservations and welcoming visitors. LRCO assists staff statewide with licensing and pass questions and issues.
Description of Job
This position will be a section admin for License, Reservations, and Customer Operations. They will be responsible for CORE payments, travel reimbursements, One Card allocations, helping with onboarding and off-boarding employees, ordering supplies, and other duties as assigned. This position will manage the front desk at 6060 including assisting customers, welcoming visitors, and handling the shift boxes daily. This person will be a Zoom expert for the building, and handle conference room reservations. This position will also assist our hearings office coordinator, assist special licensing with certain license types, and help other employees in the section as needed.
Staff the front desk
Staff the front entrance desk at 6060 daily. Ensures the shift box is correct and assists with creating the weekly deposit. Opens and closes the front, and makes sure the POS system and supplies are ready. Greets customers, answers questions, and lets visitors in. Occasionally there will be boxes that need moved when staff/volunteers are dropping off or picking up supplies. Helps to assist staff and external agents by answering the agent line and CSR chat. Takes outgoing mail to our mailroom, picks up our mail daily, and sends returned licenses/letters back out to customers.
Assist other LRCO employees
Assist special licensing by taking phone calls, answering email questions, and handling year end reporting for certain license types, and other duties as assigned. Assist our hearings office coordinator, by assisting with mailings, suspensions, and other necessary tasks. Assist other employees in this section, as needed, including the disability program, the landowner preference program, and with refunds and reissues.
Section Administrative Assistant and Branch Support
Serves as the section admin for License, Reservations, and Customer Operations and be a backup admin for the I&E branch. They will be responsible for CORE payments, travel reimbursements, One Card allocations, helping with onboarding and off-boarding employees, ordering supplies, and other duties as assigned.
Zoom Expert and Conference Room Reservation Coordinator
Serves as a Zoom Expert for the building, assisting with setting up and operating meetings as needed. Handles reservations for all the conference rooms in the building, and keeps the calendar up to date.
Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Three (3) years of relevant experience in customer service or office administration or an occupation related to the work assigned to this position.
OR
A combination of related education in accounting, business, wildlife management, biology, or outdoor recreation or related field of study and/or relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned equal to three (3) years.
