Essential Responsibilities

+ Provide on site and remote technical direction to site personnel and customers.

+ Prepare job planning documents that define the work scope being performed through

+ engineering instructions, drawings, and process instructions;

+ Provide leadership to skilled labor performing work on customer sites;

+ Troubleshoot and provide routine maintenance checkout for a wide range of equipment

+ such as power transformers, switchgear, protection relays, control systems, and motors.

+ Troubleshoot electrical problems in the substations on wind and solar plants.

+ Perform administrative functions such as writing technical reports, ordering materials,

+ securing quotations, and preparing job completion reports to customers.

+ Exercise good judgment in controlling costs

+ Maintain strong safety mindset at all times

Required Qualifications

+ High School Diploma / GED

Desired Characteristics

+ Previous High voltage experience

+ Familiar with test equipment and testing procedures for transformers, relays, breakers, and

+ underground splices.

+ Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

+ Must be able to read schematics.

+ Ability to write and interpret switching orders.

+ Required to mentor and train unqualified technicians

+ Proven experience in leading field service team;

+ Safety must be top priority.

+ Strong organizational and interpersonal skills;

+ Willingness to travel;

+ Flexibility required;

+ Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, SmartSheets,

+ Basic Workplace First Aid

+ Must live within 100 miles of Wichita Falls Texas.
