    IQVIA (Wayne, PA)

    Apply Now

Join a team where your ability to lead, communicate, and think analytically makes an immediate difference. In this Engagement Manager role, you’ll take ownership of end‑to‑end SaaS implementations for specialty pharmaceutical clients—managing timelines, partnering with technical teams, navigating complex data flows, and shaping the client experience from kickoff to go‑live. This remote position (EST or CST required) offers the chance to grow your expertise in a rare and highly sought‑after data domain while driving measurable impact for top manufacturers.

    Job Overview

The Engagement Manager oversees the delivery of client implementations on a SaaS platform designed to ingest, process, and operationalize specialty pharmaceutical, copay, and channel distribution data. You will be the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and at the highest levels of quality, accuracy, and compliance. This role requires strong project management abilities, exceptional communication, analytical thinking, and comfort working with complex data workflows and technical teams.

    Essential Functions

    Project & Client Delivery

+ Lead end‑to‑end implementation projects, achieving full adherence to scope, timelines, and budget.

+ Serve as the primary client contact—owning communication, expectations, documentation, and delivery quality throughout the project lifecycle.

+ Facilitate recurring client and internal meetings, ensuring aligned priorities and proactive risk management.

+ Ensure consistent use of standard PM tools including project plans, RAID logs, mapping templates, documentation trackers, and status updates.

    Specialty Data Expertise

+ Demonstrate working knowledge of specialty pharmaceutical data (e.g., patient services, copay, distribution/channel).

+ Provide guidance to clients on how data will be used across commercial strategy, patient services, and supply chain visibility.

+ Validate data quality and completeness, partnering closely with Business Analysts and testing teams to ensure accuracy of mapping and configuration.

    Technical & Analytical Oversight

+ Understand complex data flows, configuration logic, and downstream impacts to identify issues, risks, or misalignments early.

+ Synthesize input from multiple technical teams (onshore/offshore BAs, testing, engineering) into clear updates for clients.

+ Ask the right questions, challenge assumptions, and escalate when requests deviate from scope or may negatively affect data integrity.

+ Verify that configuration, mapping, and outbound rules meet expected standards _before_ data is received.

    Governance, Documentation & Change Management

+ Ensure all Change Orders and Statements of Work are properly documented, approved, and archived.

+ Monitor for scope changes proactively and engage GTM partners when modifications are required.

+ Ensure compliance with privacy, governance, and PHI‑related controls (including RRD processes).

+ Maintain impeccable documentation of decisions, assumptions, approvals, and action items.

    Optimization & Innovation

+ Contribute to continuous improvement, including lessons learned, process enhancements, workflow templates, and best‑practice documentation.

+ Identify and propose innovations each quarter that enhance project delivery, tooling, client engagement, or data quality.

+ Act as a champion for new platform capabilities, internal initiatives, and future‑state process improvements.

    Qualifications

    Required

+ Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

+ 5+ years of project management, client delivery, or implementation experience.

+ Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi‑stakeholder projects with tight timelines.

+ Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data layouts, identify issues, and understand downstream impacts.

+ Excellent communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information clearly and confidently.

+ Proficiency with project management and documentation tools (e.g., RAID logs, project plans, meeting documentation).

+ Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

+ Ability to work with technical teams and understand data workflows, mapping concepts, and configuration processes.

+ Must be comfortable asking clarifying questions, surfacing risks, and holding both internal teams and clients accountable.

+ Must be located in EST or CST; remote role.

    Preferred

+ Experience with specialty pharmaceutical, copay, or channel distribution data.

+ Experience working with Smartsheet or similar workflow tools.

+ PMP certification or equivalent knowledge of project management best practices.

+ Experience working with onshore/offshore delivery models.

+ Prior SaaS implementation or data integration experience.
