Job Description
The duties and responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant include assisting the Executive Director in the day-to-day operation of the facility, managing the office and supervising the office staff in the effective and efficient manner; performing general accounting functions as outlined in established policies and procedures of Methodist Senior Services and in accordance with federal, state and local regulations.
Requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Two years of college/business school or office managerial experience preferred; Windows, MicroSoft Word and Exel experience preferred.
Minimum Qualifications
Must meet minimum age requirements of the State of Mississippi; must have accounts payable and accounts receivable experience; must be computer literate with experience in word processing, spreadsheets and data entry; good knowledge of the English language; experience operating office machines such as: calculator, copy machine, multi-line telephones, fax, etc.
