    Job Description

    • Carry out advanced wiring and assembly tasks, ensuring all work meets established production standards.

    • Assemble and repair printed circuit boards, applying both plated-thru hole and surface mount soldering techniques, and performing continuity checks.

    • Complete basic mechanical assembly as needed for microelectronic products.

    • Set up and operate specialized equipment to maximize productivity and quality.

     

    Share expertise by training and supporting less experienced assemblers on proper techniques and procedures

    Skills and Requirements

    • High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 8 years of relevant experience

    • In-depth knowledge of MIL-STD 883 for wire bonding and component attachment

    • Hands-on experience with ball bonding, wedge bonding, parallel gap welding, and microelectronic assembly/repair

     

    Ability to work with small components under a microscope • Familiarity with automatic microelectronic assembly equipment, epoxy dispensers, pick-and-place machines, and automatic ball bonders

     

    • Experience soldering wires and SMT components

     

    Background in space-level assembly
