Job Description

A Solutions Engineer interfaces with customers and identifies their needs. A Solutions Engineer with then work with various departments from network engineers, support and operations to ensure a plan is in motion to improve the customer's experience. A Solutions Engineer works to balance various aspects of the project, from safety to design. Additionally, a Solutions Engineer researches advanced technology regarding best practices in the field and seek to find cost-effective solutions. A Solutions Engineer is generally located within a large company and work alongside other professionals to meet customer's needs. They usually begin as Technical Architects and as they advance on their career path within the company will become promoted to the role. A bachelor's degree is required for the position, with many holding degrees in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related engineering fields. Individuals with a firm holistic understanding of both the operational and scope aspects of projects tend to excel in this position. Responsibilities for Solutions Engineer • Work closely with Information Technology professionals within the company to ensure hardware is available for projects and working properly • Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions including time and scope involved • Assist other department engineers in creating practical demonstrations of proposed solutions and demonstrating them to other members of the team • Establish a framework for necessary contributions from various departments and facilitate their collaboration • Analyze current technologies used within the company and develop steps and processes to improve • Document and monitor requirements needed to institute proposed updates in relation to customer experience • Work alongside project management teams to successfully monitor progress and implementation of initiatives • Account for possible project challenges or constraints and proactively seek to manage challenge

Skills and Requirements

Hands on Expertise in creating, using, and debugging Terraform code and configurations; testing INFRA modules created using Terraform

Hands DEVOPS CLOUDOPS with provisioning and Config management technologies

Gathering configurations from existing infrastructure (Servers, Firewall, Load Balancer, Application Middleware (Tomcat, WebSphere, etc.), Storage)

Hands on expertise in Ansible Playbook and XLR

Hands on expertise on Windows and RHEL Operating Systems as SysAdmin

Excellent and pleasant communication skills to work with Executives and Senior Leaders

1. Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Communication, Information Technology. 2. Competitive Windows SysAdmin IIS Admin Skills 3. Knowledge to manage data on the RDBMS' (Includes data analytics) 4. Power Shell scripting 5. Ability to plan, design, create programs, and document through AGILE framework. 6. Application Container Knowledge (.NET/IIS) 7. Ability to design and develop application and architectural solutions for complex technology problems using available and emerging technologies 8. Managing changes, defects, and projects across various testing and PROD environments 9. 5 years of hands on Job Skills 10. Work during onshore hours: 1PM - 9PM ET 9. Self driven, generalist, innovative, result-oriented, motivating, leadership, and Project management skills 10. Minimum 7-10 years of hands on experience in the relevant areas, particularly in the Financial domains
