    Job Description

    We’re seeking a Microsoft Purview DLP SME to lead the technical implementation of a unified Data Loss Prevention (DLP) program. This role is 100% focused on Purview DLP - hands-on configuration and integration - not policy design or training. You’ll work closely with the Cyber Manager to deploy Purview across Microsoft 365 workloads and endpoints, integrate with existing security tools, and ensure compliance with SOC2 and CSIC requirements. The pay for this ranges from $75 - $95 an hour depending on experience.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Configure and deploy Microsoft Purview DLP across Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and endpoints.

    • Implement sensitivity labeling framework based on existing classification policies.

    • Integrate DLP controls with:

     

    o Tanium (Windows)

     

    o Jamf (macOS)

     

    o KnowBe4 Prevent (email)

    o Cloudflare ZTNA (network)

    • Provide technical feedback and tuning for DLP policies and guardrails.

    • Support full implementation and production readiness.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - at least 6-7 years of heavily detailed Purview experience (design, architecting, advising, designs and implementation plans)

     

    - Deep technical expertise in Microsoft Purview DLP (data controls, detection, loss prevention).

     

    - Experience integrating Purview with enterprise security tools in a global environment.

     

    - Ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain DLP configurations.

     

    - Bonus: Familiarity with AI governance and Power BI dashboards.
