    Job Description

    A client of Insight Global is looking to hire a Mid-level Manual QA Tester to join their team. Day to day for this role will include participating in daily stand-ups, creating and executing test cases for Windows, web-based apps, preforming device-based testing, and Database/API testing. You will develop and execute test plans to ensure overall quality of web and desktop apps, collaborate to improve standards and procedures for measuring product quality and release readiness, and manually test apps across multiple configurations. The ideal candidate would have 4-6 years of experience in manual testing, strong scripting experience, strong analytical skills and great communication/ soft skills. This role will require you to be hybrid on-site in Tampa, FL.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - 4-6 years of experience in manual QA testing.

     

    - Strong understanding of testing methodologies and testing lifecycle

     

    - Understanding of different software development lifecycles and programming languages.

     

    - Familiarity with scripting for automation with Node.js tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or WebDriver IO.

     

    - Experience with JavaScript

     

    - Good communication and collaboration with an ability to communicate test results to technical and non-technical audiences.

    - Strong Analytical & Problem-Solving skills

    - Ability to come on-site for a hybrid environment. - Strong automation experience
