Job Summary/Overview

The focus of this position will be to work within the Sanitary Production area performing TIG welding.

Work Schedule

Monday - Thursday

2:00pm - 12:30am

4-Day Work Week

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

+ Measure and align workpieces using straightedges, clamps, and various measuring equipment.

+ Operate power grinders/tools, drill press, belt sander, and other miscellaneous hand tools.

+ Interpret and manufacture to drawing specifications, customer requirements, and work order direction.

+ Ensure welding operations meet set specifications and construction requirements and inspect finished product for defects.

+ Works in a safe manner complying with all safety procedures.

+ Maintains clean and safe work area following 5S procedures as required.

Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities

+ Must be able to read blue prints.

+ Be proficient in using various measurement tools to establish the configuration or position of a welding plan.

+ Ability to weld within tight tolerances.

+ A team player with excellent communication skills.

+ Basic computer, measurement, and math skills.

+ Mechanical aptitude and blueprint reading skills.

+ Ability to be flexible and adjust priories to reflect changing needs or job demands.

+ Attention to detail.

Required Qualifications

+ High school diploma or GED.

+ Ability to safely lift/lower/push/pull up to 40 lbs.

+ Previous experience in TIG welding of stainless steel.

Compensation

$19 - $25+ depending on experience

Additional $2/hour shift premium
