Leidos’ Defense Systems Colorado Manufacturing Facility is seeking a talented **Production Control Planner Scheduler** to join our team located in Colorado Springs, CO. This position will be planning and managing timelines and will maintain a production schedule for assigned programs.

Primary Responsibilities

+ Planning and managing timelines for manufacturing processes to ensure timely production and delivery of goods.

+ Manage order demand for assigned programs within CostPoint (Inventory Reservations CMR, or MRP).

+ Maintain a 6 week production schedule for assigned programs using Microsoft Project and Deltek Cost Point.

+ Interact with internal departments to coordinate execution of production schedule.

+ Print Manufacturing Orders in support of production schedule.

+ Create and track Purchase Order delivery schedule.

+ Conduct status meetings with internal and external customers.

+ Perform capacity analysis for required equipment and coordinate its use.

+ Work continually to drive improvements to on time delivery.

Basic Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in logistics or business with at least 4 years in a production planning role with use of an EPR system (CostPoint Preferred). Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

+ Experience in using an MES.

+ Previous experience using Microsoft Project.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to lead meetings.

+ Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

+ 5 years of prior relevant experience or a Masters degree with 2-4 years experience.

+ A working knowledge of Deltek CostPoint.

+ Strong knowledge of Microsoft Project.

+ Experience using Solumina MES.

+ Prior experience with multi-resource scheduling (Experience in a CNC machining environment is a plus).

+ Active Secret clearance.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $65,650.00 - $118,675.00
