    JOB SUMMARY:

    The Manager, Business Technology Solutions for Universal Creative (UC) is responsible for leading the strategic direction, planning, and execution of business technology initiatives and operations supporting UC. This hands-on position oversees hardware/software solutioning, device builds and deployments, hardware asset management, and special-purpose lab management. The Manager will drive alignment and compliance with Technology policies and standards, develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOP), ensure operational excellence, and champion technology innovation and efficiencies.

     

    Reporting to the Director, UC Services, the Manager will ensure the department delivers scalable, reliable, and secure technology services. This role will oversee lifecycle management for hardware and software, lead the evaluation and implementation of new technology solutions, and coordinate large-scale deployment projects. The Manager will partner closely with multi-functional teams from UC, Universal Destinations & Experiences (UDX), and Operations & Technology (O&T) to deliver solutions that enable the next generation of Universal Creative projects.

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Contribute to the development and implementation of the UC Business Technology Strategy in support of UC strategic objectives.

    + Provide strategic and operational oversight of functional teams including hardware/software solutioning, device builds and deployments, asset management, and lab operations.

    + Ensure consistent service delivery, lifecycle management, and adherence to best practices and standards

    + Ensure Availability, Reliability, Productivity, Growth, and Security of technology platforms and operations in support of UC

    + Oversee the creation, revision, and governance of technical documentation, standards, and processes.

    + Establish compliant standards for lifecycle management, hardware and software deployment, and inventory control.

    + Provide guidance and mentorship as required to ensure all Team Members maintain accuracy and compliance of technology-related documentation.

    + Lead and coordinate the planning and implementation of complex IT initiatives and deployments.

    + Serve as a primary UC technology liaison for UC project teams and enterprise technology partners in UDX Digital & Technology (D&T) and O&T.

    + Ensure effective communication and efficient delivery of technology solutions supporting UC development, production, and project operations.

    + Develop and implement hardware asset management strategy and reporting.

    + Ensure lifecycle tracking, financial accountability, and compliance within the Asset Management System.

    + Partner with procurement and finance to maintain accurate inventory and budget forecasting.

    + Lead support of technical audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

    + Identify opportunities for innovation, process optimization, and cost efficiency.

    + Establish and monitor key performance metrics and service level agreements (SLAs).

    + Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    EDUCATION:

    + Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in MIS, Business or IT is required.

    EXPERIENCE:

    + 5+ years equivalent work experience.

    + Experience preferred in project management, business analysis or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

    + Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

    + Has responsibility for day-to-day management of the assigned Universal Creative (UC) project(s) as they relate to computers, networks, servers and mobile devices for Universal Creative. Also has specific responsibilities regarding systems management, security and auditing tied to standard practices and protocols.

    + Strong communication abilities, a desire to build consensus, and comfort relaying technical and security principles and decisions to a wide range of audiences and stakeholders.

    + Ability to make quality decisions in high-pressure environments, maintaining focus on details, and appropriately prioritizing and triaging tasks according to business needs

    + Effective conflict resolution and technical problem-solving skills

    + Basic technical knowledge related to:

    + Infrastructure & network design, support, and troubleshooting

    + Windows and Linux systems administration

    + Asset management tools (such as ServiceNow, Snipe-IT, and Lansweeper)

    + Remote administration tools (such as Bomgar and Intune)

    + Task/project management and report tools (such as PowerBI and Click-Up)

    + Automation tools and platforms (such as scripts and Power Automate)

    + Experience with technical audits and compliance frameworks for policies and standards (especially cyber and privacy)

    + Experience with development and maintenance of technical documentation

    + Familiarity with large corporate enterprise systems, integrations, and workflows
