    **What you’ll do:** You’ll be responsible for clerical task, systems and procedures related to DWI/SAFPF/ISF programs in compliance with Management & Training Corporation (MTC) and Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) directives.

    Essential functions:

    1. Perform varied administrative duties including performing data entry functions.

    2. Support staff in the maintenance of accurate and complete case reports, records, and statistics necessary for the evaluation of the program. Maintain confidentiality of inmate records.

    3. Assist in maintenance of recovery literature libraries.

    4. Assist in preparation of monthly operational reports.

    5. Scheduling and verification of transition calls within the required timeframe.

    6. Promote the development of positive social skills through modeling appropriate behaviors and intervening when inappropriate behaviors are observed; provide regular feedback to staff regarding social skills procedures and intervention techniques.

    7. Maintain accountability of inmates and property; adhere to safety practices.

    Education and experience requirements:

    + Graduation from an accredited senior high school or equivalent or GED.

    + Clerical, administrative, or related experience to include computer operations preferred. Experience in the use of Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent to include word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software programs preferred.

    + A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.

    Post hire requirements:

    Must complete Correctional Awareness Training (CAT) prior to inmate contact. Must successfully complete annual in-service training requirements and pass an annual background check, both of which must be approved by Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
