    _MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE_

    Works closely with development/manufacturing/quality engineering to establish and ensure compliance and quality reliability. Ensure quality of products conform to established standards and agency regulations.

    _Main Responsibilities:_

    + Perform reliability engineering and statistical analysis.

    + Proactive in finding quality improvements related to Reliability Engineering

    + Works cross functionally with Engineering, Marketing, Manufacturing and Regulatory to establish measurable, valid product requirements.

    + Work collaboratively with product development and design assurance.

    + Aides in definition of test equipment as required to accomplish quality responsibilities.

    + Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.

    + Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.

    + Identifies and routinely uses the most effective, cost efficient and best practices to execute processes; continually evaluates their effectiveness and appropriateness.

    _Required Qualifications:_

    + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering discipline or equivalent years of education and experience

    _Preferred Qualifications:_

    + US Citizenship preferred

    + Previous experience in failure analysis and in the medical device industry is a plus

    + Understanding schematics and how the components function in a circuit

    + Good written and spoken English communication skills

    + Proficient skills in Word, Excel, Access, Power Point

    + Experience in troubleshooting electronic circuits (analog and digital)

    + Understanding the common failure modes of electronic components and assemblies

    + Ability to design and build and assemble prototype circuits for test fixtures

    + Excellent reputation for building relationships across various levels of an organization.

    + Supplies useful data for improving reliability, customer support and defending legal cases

     

    The base pay for this position is $73,900.00 – $116,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
