The Emory OB/GYN Advanced Practice Provider (APP) post-graduate Fellowship is currently accepting applications for the Fall 2026 cohort.
The Emory Healthcare OB/GYN Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Fellowship Program is a one-year, post-graduate training program that prepares Fellows to become highly skilled in the multidisciplinary, collaborative, and evidence-based management of complex and challenging patients in Women’s Health.

Application Requirements:
+ Eligible to graduate from an accredited NP or PA program.
+ Completed application includes submission of the following supporting documentation:
+ Curriculum Vitae: educational background, professional experience, volunteer experience and other relevant information
+ Statement of Intent: One-page, 12-point font, double-spaced statement describing career goals and reasons for pursing the fellowship. Include future career plans and how they might be enhanced by additional training in the fellowship.
+ Three Letters of Recommendation (including one from Program Director or Current Supervisor if not a new graduate)
+ Official transcripts are required upon completion of graduate program and prior to starting residency. If you are a current student we require a copy of your transcript which reflects your most recent student status.
If selected to move forward, candidates will be contacted by Program Coordinators regarding interview dates and times.
Description
Fellowship Program Description:
+ The Emory Healthcare OB/GYN Fellowship is a one-year post-graduate program that prepares new Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to become highly skilled in the multidisciplinary, collaborative, and evidence-based management of complex and challenging OB/GYN and Women's Health patients.
+ The Fellowship’s curriculum covers a wide spectrum of obstetrics and gynecology, including outpatient obstetrics and gynecology, maternal fetal medicine, reproductive endocrinology and infertility and urogynecology, and inpatient Labor and Delivery and L&D Triage.
+ The clinical rotations will provide Fellows with most aspects of Women’s Health and OB/GYN.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Completion of an accredited PA or NP Master's program prior to the start of the Fellowship program.
+ National board certification as an NP or PA.
+ Eligible for licensure as a PA or NP in Georgia.
+ Eligible for DEA license
+ Current BLS and ACLS certifications issued by the American Heart Association.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (Medium): 20-50 lbs; 0-33% of the work day (occasionally); 11-25 lbs, 34-66% of the workday (frequently); 01-10 lbs, 67-100% of the workday (constantly); Lifting 50 lbs max; Carrying of objects up to 25 lbs; Occasional to frequent standing & walking, Occasional sitting, Close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing), Physical demands may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.
ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS: Factors affecting environment conditions may vary depending on the assigned work area and tasks. Environmental exposures include but are not limited to: Blood-borne pathogen exposure Bio-hazardous waste Chemicals/gases/fumes/vapors Communicable diseases Electrical shock, Floor Surfaces, Hot/Cold Temperatures, Indoor/Outdoor conditions, Latex, Lighting, Patient care/handling injuries, Radiation, Shift work, Travel may be required. Use of personal protective equipment, including respirators, environmental conditions may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.
