The 5th Precinct serves the southeastern edge of Manhattan, and is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the role of School Crossing Guard, Level II (Supervisor) to perform the duties that include, but are not limited to:
- Supervises all School Crossing Guards in the assigned area within the 5th Precinct command
- Monitors attendance, work assignments, and schedules for School Crossing Guards
- Transports School Crossing Guards to and from uncovered posts
- Prepares reports, forms, memos, lists, cards, etc.
- Conducts evaluations and training duties for School Crossing Guards
- Must be capable of performing required tours and duties within assigned borough.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Prospective candidates must pass a personal interview to be considered for the position. Prospective candidates must also successfully complete (8) days of training at the Police Academy, including the NYPD Vehicle Operator Training.
HOURS/SHIFT:
Monday - Friday (2nd Platoon)
