The WCM Coordinator will lead the implementation of WCM methodologies at the plant, providing support to employees in transferring knowledge, developing people, creating a strong foundation and problem solving culture, and coordinating activities across different departments. This role is responsible for driving the implementation, execution, and sustainment of the World Class Manufacturing (WCM) methodology in support of the Plant Manager. It requires adopting a systematic approach focused on loss identification, loss eradication, and loss prevention, while ensuring alignment with the company’s operational excellence vision and best practices, delivering best in class results on the operational performance measured by KPIs, specifically Net Manufacturing Savings
Essential Functions
Overall WCM Strategy & Implementation - 20%
+ Lead & direct the overall WCM strategy for the plant, aligned with the BU and Region objectives and MWB. Set priorities, establish the agenda of activities, conduct training & coaching on WCM methodologies, running assessments, monitoring and reporting KPIs
Plant Support - 80%
+ Responsible for the support of the plants in designing and implementing systems to drive plant performance and internal costs by:
+ Foundations
+ Pillars (decided accordingly to each plant and business priorities)
+ Training & coaching on Yellow Belt routes
+ Assessments
+ Reporting
+ Single Agenda
+ Lead and coordinate the implementation of the WCM Program following the business strategy
+ Train, coach, and assess the people at the plant level in the use of WCM methodologies
+ Be effective on delivering results, especially Net Manufacturing Savings
+ Develop people to be able to adopt preventive and autonomous actions in their routines
+ Establish the Road Map of the plant
+ Coordinate the WCM Steering Committee Routines with the plant manager for alignment and execution of WCM priorities.
+ Coordinate the Loss Deployment workshops and activities, identifying losses together with the team at the plant, Set the projects single agenda tied to KPIs and financial performance
+ Follow the WCM Tracker and autonomous dashboards for tracking project status, KPIs, and savings.
+ Facilitate & Lead Implementation of projects and department collaboration to identify, prioritize, eliminate losses, and prevent losses.
+ Lead the Workplace Organization and 5S efforts in the plant
+ Run audits and assessments of the WCM Program according to the WCM Audit Guide
+ Ensure that the plant is aligned with the Saint-Gobain WCM model and Single Agenda.
+ Drive the culture of continuous improvement by engaging all levels of the organization.

Minimum Requirements
+ Bachelor's Degree - Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering--
+ WCM Green Belt and/or Yellow Belt - Saint-Gobain Certification-
+ 1 – 5 year’s experience in production and or industrial processes within a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and equipment.-
+ Proactive & Independent learning skills, flexible in assuming job assignments-
+ Driven, self-guided, accountable, delivers and promotes stretch performance.-
+ Highly organized, documents meeting agendas, actions, trip reports, best practices.- Provides innovative solutions.-
