    About the Role:

    CBRE seeks an experienced Energy Manager in Charlotte, NC (onsite, M-F) to develop and execute energy management programs for clients in Aerospace, Building Automation, Industrial Automation, and ESS. You'll conduct energy audits, analyze data, manage projects, and build client relationships, contributing to sustainability goals. Strong knowledge of energy-efficient technologies and relevant industry standards is essential.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Develop and implement strategies and programs to achieve client energy and sustainability goals, set and track deadlines.

    + Stay current on regulatory changes, and ensure global energy and sustainability standards are upheld.

    + Communicate with client, influence stakeholders, and partner with facility managers.

    + Identify and implement opportunities for improvement across real estate portfolios.

    + Integrate knowledge of energy conservation measures and new technologies; guide improved energy and sustainability performance; present status reports.

    + Troubleshoot complex issues, apply discipline knowledge, and model CBRE RISE values.

    + Perform onsite energy audits and identify energy and sustainability project opportunities

    + Review and report out on building energy metrics

    What You’ll Need:

    + Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. CEM and LEED accreditation, preferred.

    + Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.

    + Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.

    + Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.

    + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
