Job Title:** **General Laborer

**Location:** Victoria, TX 77905

**Assignment Length:** 1-year assignment starting February 2026

Schedule

+ Monday through Friday

+ 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

+ No overtime

+ Average 35 hours per week

Pay Rate

+ $15.00 – $22.00 per hour (based on experience)

Work Attire

+ Jeans and sweatshirt

+ Jacket optional

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to join our team. This role involves a wide range of outdoor and maintenance tasks to help maintain and improve the property. Duties include fence installation, landscaping, basic plumbing assistance, and general upkeep. The ideal candidate is physically capable, safety-focused, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

+ Paint fences and maintain existing perimeter fencing

+ Install new perimeter fencing, including wood and galvanized chain-link fences

+ Operate heavy machinery such as backhoes and tractors (as needed)

+ Rake dirt and assist with ground leveling

+ Assist in identifying and repairing underground plumbing leaks

+ Clean clogged plumbing lines

+ Trim trees and maintain landscaping

+ Perform weed eating and grass mowing

+ Pick up trash around the property perimeter

+ Complete additional tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications

+ Previous experience in general labor, landscaping, or construction preferred

+ Ability to operate heavy machinery (training provided if necessary)

+ Basic plumbing knowledge is a plus

+ Strong attention to detail

+ Commitment to safety and following procedures

+ Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Physical Requirements

+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

+ Prolonged standing, bending, and physical labor

+ Comfortable working in outdoor environments

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

+ Steel-toe boots (required)

+ Leather gloves (required)

+ Additional PPE may be required or provided depending on assigned tasks
